This whole entire circus is moving to Substack

I’ve been shocked but also honoured how many random hits this site has attracted from all over the world. The Grab has been a repository for my wilder sports takes – my Letterboxd account – and also my portfolio: the one place I’ve been able to show the world what I’m really (uh) capable of.

At some point, directing more and more of those sports takes towards my nephew, who hears said takes over 4-hour phone calls on NFL Sundays, I thought hey. I’ve cracked it! Writing to this jackass in Canada helps me slant the language a certain way, and it’s actually fun!

The new website is called ‘This Week in Fandom’. It reminds me of all the great journalists I’d read, or watch, or listen to growing up, and since I have nothing nearly so profound to say lends my blogging some much needed gravitas.
